Virginia Republicans nominate winning team for 2021 elections.

On Saturday, May 8, over 30,000 Virginia Republicans went to voting sites around the Commonwealth to choose their nominees for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General. After all the ballots had been counted, Virginia Republicans had selected the most diverse and dynamic Statewide ticket in the history of our Commonwealth. At the top of the ticket is Glenn Youngkin, a successful businessman and political outsider making his first foray into Virginia politics. For Lieutenant Governor, GOP voters chose Winsome Sears, a former Delegate from Norfolk, a Marine, and a small business owner. Finally, convention-goers nominated Delegate Jason Miyares of Virginia Beach, a former prosecutor and son of a Cuban immigrant, for Attorney General. Some have already called this the best GOP ticket Virginia has ever seen. Regardless, we are excited to support this outstanding trio as they get ready to criss-cross Virginia for the next six months and work to win back our Commonwealth from the radical, on-party rule in Richmond. Please go visit their websites and support their campaigns in the coming months!
